~wow~ just wow ! We actually are turning out to be a pretty decent FT shooting team (don't we lead the B12, or near the top?); I hope it keeps up, but thankful we don't play Aaron White ball!

I don't think this team can recover. They are not good.
Good now most of the local shows can go from celebrating Iowa's Bowl win to crying in their beer over Iowa basketball. On the this mornings Morning Rush Drake's loss got top billing over our win.

I can hear it now, “Oh lots of season left!” “This team is too talented.” Same **** we’ve been hearing since Nixon was in office.
They still play Mich, Mich St, Neb x2, Wisconsin, Maryland, OSUx2, and Indiana x2. All teams that are or have been ranked. That’s 10 of their last 15 conference games. They even have Rutgers twice who is a bad matchup for them. I’m not sure they get to 7 conference wins.
CR News outlets like KCRG will show nothing but Iowa highlights all excited like and then at the end mention that Purdue built a big lead and wouldn't let up.
Fran installs fear into them. Not the greatest way to motivate your players.
I think a lot of people gave Iowa way too much credit for beating several name teams, including ISU, at the beginning of the season. Unfortunately most of those name teams were no where near what everyone expected. (Including ISU without a couple guys that would have really helped in that game) Guess no one paid any attention to the pounded they took at MSU. They are an okay team, and that is about it. If they can't get 50 FTs or someone doesn't play out of their mind they will struggle in the Big 10. BTW, the Big 10 looks a lot better this year, so that will not help the Hawks.

It’s funny, because he doesn’t actually think that. Press conferences are pointless because all everyone does is lie in them. I don’t even watch them. Head coaches are just as bad as politicians.
