Scherff in 2014
King in 2016
Jackson and Daniels in 2018
Fant, Hockenson, Hooker and Nelson in 2019
Epenesa next year.
It is becoming yearly, which is what I said.

Never said they did, my original post was about players that had decisions to make regarding the draft.

Well that's a problem for ISU than too. Montgomery, Butler, Bailey, Spears and Lima this year, Peavy last year, Lazard the year before, etc
Chad is projecting Stanley and Sargent both keeping their jobs for next year. Yikes!
I actually like what they did with him this year. He was in on obvious passing downs along with his rotation snaps. He was definitely fresh and a beast in the pass rush. Obviously he'll be on the field more next year...Hesse is gone and if Nelson leaves early he'll be out there a ton....if Nelson comes back I'd see a Golston/Nelson/AJ rotation at DE but regardless...he'll get more snaps. Will they play Epenesa more next year? If they up his plays by say 50%, that could make him less effective on his third down pass rushes. I wounder what they will do.

Lol, it only took 3 years for Iowa's best defensive recruit of the Ferentz era to crack the starting lineup.
AJ got plenty of snaps...enough to get him on the All B1G 1st team by the media and second team from the coaches.Lol, it only took 3 years for Iowa's best defensive recruit of the Ferentz era to crack the starting lineup.

Some folks are arguing he should be out there every snap but that ends up being counter productive in the 4th Qtr in todays game. In 2010 Binns, Clayborn etc were out there way too much and really wore down.. I think Parker has made a concerted effort to develop a rotation to keep guys fresh. Pretty standard nowadays...we'll see.
