Well, that escalated quickly at West Virginia...

Here will be the new Big 12 Football Coach tenure list...believe it or not, we now have the 3rd most experienced coach with Coach Campbell.

7t. West Virginia Hire (0 yrs)
7t. KSU - Klieman (0 yrs)
7t. KU - Miles (0 yrs)
7t. Tech - Wells (0 yrs)
4t. Baylor - Rhule (2 yrs)
4t. Texas - Herman (2 yrs)
4t. OU - Riley (2 yrs)
3. ISU - Campbell (3 yrs)
2. OSU - Gundy (14 yrs)
1. TCU - Patterson (19 yrs)

The quality and tenure of coaches in this league have made it very tough. Hard to believe that MC is now near the top. Daddy like.

3 years....honestly, what CMC and his staff has accomplished is amazing. What a bright future with the foundation they have built. Loving the ride!

And the best part is that (at least so far) Coach Campbell has been blocking overtures from other organizations the way that Old Spice blocks odor!

Besides G5, he'll get to work in a hotbed of recruits, warmer weather, and who knows in 2024 if Houston can land in a P5 conference when the world shifts again.

I'll be astonished if WVU doesn't take Luke Fickell from Cincinnati. He's from that part of the world to start, with deep ties to recruiting that part of the world. Plus, his personality and game philosophies are opposite of Dana's. I believe Dana just wore thin in Morgantown. His personality is abrasive to many.

Well, Houston is a more professional community than Morgantown!
