How so? If those guys are monumental players, wouldnt that put Iowa in a different category than ISU? considering they are virtually equals in the last 2 years.

If Iowa had better players then yes they would be better than ISU. They don't though and that's why ISU was better last year and this year
I can agree that the mediocre years Iowa put together, are not good years. Not sure how ISU, with the same records each year is considered better when Iowa beat them both years. It can be argued either way, which is why I say they are on equal ground. So with a RB recruit, 1 guy as you claim, Iowa would be better as a program than ISU. that is crazy talk.
ISU is ranked now, Iowa isn't. ISU received more votes in the AP Poll last year. I don't think it's crazy to say if Iowa had a player like Eno, Purdy, Montgomery, etc they would be better than ISU this year
Yet, those 2 teams in the top 30 recruiting have given you no CFP teams the last two years.
Iowa just had the 5th best rated early signing FB class...in the B1G West, that is.

This is nothing new.
It's always OU, Texas, then everybody else when it comes to Big 12 recruiting.
There are 64 Power 5 conference schools.
Big 12 has 6 of the top 44 classes.
Not too bad considering the bottom 4 are low on commitments.
