Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Man oh man a full offseason now until Clones get a chance to win against Iowa at something meaningful. Does MC have that countdown clock going yet???

No they did not and it was not Pemsl that beat ISU.
“Cordell’s procedure is to remove hardware near his knee from a previous surgery when he was in high school,” Iowa coach Fran McCaffery said in a university news release. “It was hoped this procedure could wait until the end of the season, but is now determined the hardware removal is necessary before he will be able to return to the court."

Ya'll full o' f***in' s***. No, it didn't swing the game by itself, but both Weiskamp and Pemsl were medical miracles last night after multiple reports of them not playing leading up to gametime. Meanwhile, our best player and a valuable post starter remain on our bench...

Tyler Cook is “f***ing jacked”. THT is...not that. He’s more overweight and pudgy than he is fat, but it’s hilarious that you would call anyone with his physique “jacked”.
You're going to look at that picture and tell me that kid isn't jacked. Seriously.

That's the dumbest s*** you've said today. The guy is a brick s***house of muscle. It's right there.

I actually thought ISU would win, so I didn't predict correctly. It's obvious how much this game means to Prohm but never imagined he would get physical with JorBo. That was weird.

So you’re saying Prohm played not one, but two imjured players risking even more serious injuries? One who is supported to have surgery and was sent out with the sole purpose of starting a fight.

Yeah the fact that you loved Kirk playing scherff on one leg make sense. Iowa State is more important to you than the team you supposedly root for, we know you didn’t graduate from there

No, and no ****, he's terrible. The point is obviously that Fran was willing to risk the medical redshirt and a players knee just to beat ISU. Not to mention playing a hobbled Weiskamp.

You got a coach that treats ISU as a superbowl in both sports now, congrats, i'm sure the basketball team will fare better than the football team post superbowl...

After they initially shut him down to have surgery they held off because he wanted to see if he could play through it. He'd have had the surgery by now otherwise. Regardless, Pemsl is the 8th or 9th man on Iowa and has nothing to do with the beatdown that occurred last night.

I didn't say anything about Pemsl being the reason Iowa won.

Pemsl's own words don't line up with your take.

You should start breaking the capsules in half.

Why are Iowa fans even arguing this? If roles were reversed I would gladly admit it was our Super Bowl

Prohm a devout Christian suddenly shoving college students and yelling at anybody within earshot. The magnitude of this game for him was painfully obvious. I hope he’s feeling better after the game has come and gone
