Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Let him have his time with Twins, he's been eagerly waiting since last night for him to post.
Fine by me, I'm just throwing it out there.

I didn't catch parts of the game due to having my face firmly implanted in my hands out of disappointment, but it's one thing to have our team underperform in basically all facets and then have two guys on the other team have career nights on top of that.

I mean I predicted a loss and they are still trying to come at me. I expected Fran to pull out all the stops but to throw away a year of eligibility on a player to get a win over Iowa State is something nobody could have seen coming

The Stanley jokes really got under the skin of this guy.

Actually just pointing out what's fairly obvious which is THT is far more overweight than Stanley, who actually has ideal size. He's either lost athleticism or it was exaggerated because he does not look athletic out there. Just tried playing bully ball and got bailed out by the refs.

He was 9-19 from the floor and only shot 4 FTs...

I'm just glad he's ok. Was worried there for a bit.

So 9-19 actually raised his shooting percentage to 38% and 28%. Yikes.

He was 0-4 from 3 so it would have raised his overall shooting percentage and lowered his 3 point percentage.

You really don't think Talen Horton-Tucker is good? You keep ignoring that question

FWIW Pemsl didn’t lose his ability to take a medical redshirt by playing last night. He could still play a few more games and, if he decides the pain is intolerable, shut it down and take a medical redshirt.

Regardless, I’m not so sure that “losing” a year of eligibility on Pemsl is a bad thing.

So he chose a non conference game as one of the few games he was going to play in? Lol Super Bowl

He can't shoot and he's 30 lbs overweight. To this point in the season, no he's not been good. If every ISU player shot 38% and 28% like THT does you wouldn't win a conference game, and maybe not a game all year.
