Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

I just assume little McCaffrey was acting like a little ***** all night because that's his nature. Some of the ISU players let it get to them. Notice how every time something happened he was in the middle of it?
The rotten apple doesn't fall far from the tree. With an ******* father who throws chairs and swings at refs and a mother who got the Iowa announcer suspended, it woudl be utterly remarkable if he weren't an entitled little prick.

With the lead Cook was able to do his, uh, 'driving' in to get fouled. Same with little Fran.

Iowa State’s offense the entire second half was driving to the lane with their heads down, getting away with blatant offensive fouls, and picking up garbage foul calls.

Little Fran is going to get himself in some real **** at some point though.

Jacobsen needs to knock his **** off too.

So was half of Iowa's team.

Iowa literally had a guy get up off the ground, who's not even supposed to be playing, get up and run over to shove someone. Before that, there was just some talking.

Delusional. On all three claims. They got beat by taking bad shots and not boxing out.

They took horrible shots in the first half, for sure. A lot of step-back and pull-up 18 footers. The second half, Iowa State’s offense was all fast-break points and free throws. They just kept barreling into the lane and creating contact, then getting rewarded with free throws.

So which Springfield do you call home?

No they got called for a couple terrible charges.

I’m not a fan of the charge, but there’s no way you can look at those objectively and call them “terrible” calls. If you want to play that game, though, Iowa State also benefitted from several terrible calls where the Iowa defender was completely vertical, an Iowa State player initiated the contact, and still somehow drew a foul against Iowa.

I'm surprised you're opposed to players creating contact. Iowa players haven't done that a **** ton this year. Iowa fans lack self awareness.

ISU went to the line more than the hawks so the ref card really can’t be played tonight.

You mean like the foul called against Conditt defending Cook?
