Any guesses on the opening line for the game against the Hawks? It's tough to say, but I could see the bookies seeing-through Iowa's veneer, rankings and decent start and favoring ISU by about 2 (home court is worth about 5 typically in CBB, right?). That said, if I had to bet, I'd guess we'll see an even line or even Iowa favored by a point or so.

KenPom has ISU by 2. That being said I'll say it opens as a pick em
IDK why but I'm feeling a 2014 level *** kicking coming up. We are really clicking on all cylinders and they really are not. But who knows.
I never know what to expect in CyHawk games at either venue, but especially at CFH. Sometimes an assumed advantage for either team doesn't go as I would expect.
This one concerns me only from the standpoint that the Hawks got embarrassed Monday. I think they will come out with a lot of intensity. First true road game for our Freshman and first Cy-Hawk for most of the team.
It will be interesting to see how they respond to the first hostile environment of the year. Not a ton of experience in that regard.

The great thing is we have NWB, Shayok, Jacobson, Talley and Lard who all have plenty of experience in road environments. The freshmen don't have to pull the load, and just need to play within themselves (and I think they will just play their games).
Yeah, you just never know with the in-state rivalry games. Funny stuff happens. On paper I think ISU is better but no matter what the line ends up being I wouldn't touch it.
