True or untrue, personally I'd like to see ISU wear the actual school colors in the bowl game, whatever combination, with no black. All-black under the lights has looked good, but I'm blacked-out for this season.

The bowl game can be a national statement kind of deal, especially with a W in likely one of if not the biggest bowl game we've played in ever. Black is cool but winning that kind of game in black would just feel kinda weird.

From my "detective work" I agree it seems like these boxes are shoes or other "accessories", but not helmets.

They could just be regular black sneakers that the team may get.

I'm under the impression that the stuff that came in is apparel, instead of game gear.

Side by side they have the same pattern until you get to the white helmets at Tech. I tend to notice patterns lol.
