Barta is probably drafting a new contract for Kirk with a bigger buyout clause to keep him in the fold another 20 years and ward off any college or NFL vacancies. But then again, when has anyone seen Kirk's name come up for a job lately?
Yes, Jamie Pollard is such an “outside the box” thinker that he is the only P5 AD in the country that would schedule a non-scholarship football program. Such a shrewd move by Pollard that was definitely not motivated solely by money and vanity.
It’s pretty obvious that Pollard is just looking for a guaranteed win to boost Iowa State’s record. I’m surprised he didn’t schedule Park’s old flag football team.

I’m not mad at all, I think it is hilarious. The only thing funnier is Iowa State fans blindly drinking the Kool-Aid and pretending that this is no different than scheduling South Dakota State or UNI.
