Noah Fant Not in Iowa City

Actually he was hanging out in the shrubbery...footage from KF's security camera.

That cat is creepy even if not hanging out in shrubbery.

Someone want to explain to me why anyone would even remotely care if James Daniels dislikes Kirk now? What relevance does this have?

Iowa fans pride themselves on sending people to the NFL more than winning in college. When they just sent a guy to the NFL and he is halfway through his rookie year and disconnects himself from the program that is a tough blow for their fans

I'm going to guess the vast, vast majority of their fans will either never know about James Daniels relationship with the football program, and if they knew, unequivocally don't give a ****. I know a handful of former ISU players who have had their qualms with the football program. I can't say it had any real effect on me personally, nor should it.

I do know the die hards pride themselves on the NFL and the fact that Daniels ended his relationship with the University is a tough pill to swallow.

Also ISU fans care more about winning while Iowa fans care more about sending players to the NFL so it's apples to oranges

Is this one of those deals where it's appropriate for me to say "source"?

The source would be any message board or Twitter. Sending players to the NFL and the draft is what they pride themselves on. They don't even care they're the second best team in the state now because they have two TE's on the mock boards. It's the same reason they are happy with Stanley's mediocre performance because they think he'll be a pro even though he's not good in college

Yah that's not really a source. That's you extrapolating something that doesn't exist for the sake of an absurdly petty argument.

If you don't think Iowa fans are very concerned about their players in the NFL you aren't paying attention

I think they enjoy the fact that their players have a good track record of NFL success. I don't think they are super invested in whether one player's relationship with the program has allegedly soured. Also, it's not like we are talking about a super high profile alum.
