I have an MBA from a top 20 MBA program, what have you done?

What’s ‘the year’ from a team mocking another team who didn’t make the tourney last year?

You mean a season where ISU wasn't good and rebuilding?

The year Iowa looks good to start and can keep from flailing the moment a team guards them.

I just read a comment elsewhere that I hadn't thought of but it makes sense. Teams that return a lot of experience will perform well (and overachieve) early in the season but unless there is true growth, that will be the peak and things will get considerably more difficult later in the season as other teams get more experience. Since that seems to pertain to one team on our schedule we will see how well the back end of their schedule holds up and how well the coach can develop and improve their talent.

You were marginally better than us in September. You guys are so great, yet could only muster a measly 13 points to a team that belongs to a conference that plays no defense? At home???

Anyway, the whole CFP comittee and both AP and Coaches poll right now think we are WAY better than you. Game. Set. Match.

Marginally? More then 4x your score but ok.

We’re better than you, we always are, just like when we beat you... B12 is garbage, it produces less NFL talent than the MAC

Why are you around now?

Where were you last Saturday? And the Saturday before that? And before that?

Yeah, that’s kind of why I was asking if they were only playing zone. Because I doubt that works the entire year. Syracuse can do it, but they recruit for it. Duke resorted to it last year with all that talent and it didn’t work out.

I fully expect Iowa to perform better in the non-conference than in conference play. The reasoning you just stated is a small part of it, but the main reason is that in conference play, the officials stop calling fouls, and Izzoball takes full effect. Iowa doesn’t have the athletes (other than Cook) to play that style of basketball.
