Well, no one on ISU caught up to the play to throw a block, so in general I think ISU was not very fast. Great memory though. I would still buy Marvelous Marv a beer if he walked in a bar.
two factors in that game that I found fascinating was the number of 3rd down conversions we had, and Time of Possession. We had the ball for some ridiculous number like for the last 9 minutes of the game. Somebody feel free to fact check that.
I got to go to this game on my uncle's ticket. Was only 12 years old at the time and this was among my first major cyclone memories. Never forget that day.

No they did not. 12 year old me stormed the field and even got hit by part of the goal post. Not a Nebby fan in sight.
