Give Kirk some credit, everyone can see the writing on the wall but he refuses to directly throw the kid under the bus. Fant is a physical freak that doesn’t work at the game. He lines up in the wrong spots, runs wrong routes and is more concerned with himself over the team. I feel pity for any NFL team that drafts him.

I have no idea if he does this since I don't watch hawk games; but if he does, wouldn't NFL scouts figure this out before the draft also? Hawk fans keep saying he is a first round pick for sure, those issues would keep him from being a first round pick. Are hawk fans delusional or are NFL scouts clueless?

I think Hok fans will always defend Capt. Kirk so they make all kind of excuses for him and throw their own players under the bus. Except for Nate Stanley. He could never fit under a bus.

According to a lot of Hawk fans Fant has been surprisingly absent at crunch time for Iowa this year. Maybe he does run poor routes and does not block at all. I don't watch enough Iowa FB to know. The other TE is pretty good. I feel like SAM SEONBUCHNER is a specialist for ISU. Doubt he has caught a lot of passes this year, but man can he block, and yes he needs to be on the field a lot.
