Wigginton hurt?

Shayok's time to shine. It's certainly not ideal but the good news is that there's some quality depth to this year's team and while nobody on the roster can do what LW does, they can probably at least replace his production in aggregate.

If there is one fan base to go absolutely nuts about a basketball program and having guys miss time its Iowa State.

I'm a little ashamed how people see it as the clock striking 12 and tomorrow is the last day on earth.

Between last year and this year, it is getting kind of ridiculous. Pretty much expected at this point that we'll be missing at least 2 important people per game.

**** this ****. I need comfort food. Heating up the oven and baking a frozen pie. Also, cause winter and weather sucks, pie time.

I'm sure the players are thinking to themselves, "I'm going to get suspended or hurt so I can piss off the entire fan base and rile up CycloneFanatic!"

The suspensions are in their own control, and I don't blame Prohm one minute for suspending them. He can't let players walk all over him and he's establishing a culture. Injuries just happen and people need to deal with it.

I'm not blaming the players. I'm just saying it's freaking ridiculous how much **** luck our program has gone through the past two years.

Yeah, that wasn't directed towards you. I just happened to quote your comment!

Out indefinitely. Should help CSP keep his job no matter what the record ends up.

First, the possibility exists that we'll hang on through November long enough to still have a good season.

Secondly, you do have to take into account things like injuries, etc when evaluating outcomes of seasons.

Lastly, ISU is not the type of school where you can hit the eject button after two disappointing season.

Let this year and next play out before you start wondering if we should fire Prohm.

Do you all remember when we were 1-3 in football and everyone on CF seemed sure we wouldn't get bowl eligibility? Let's have some fun, support our guys and see where this goes.

(But ****, this is disappointing).

Besides just wanting our school and team to do well, I hope that Prohm and the squad rallies and finishes the month with only one or two loses.

See if the Prohm haters shut up if he can put together a good run despite being down to one rotational player back from last season (and back from injury, to boot), four true freshmen, two incoming transfers, and a sophomore who did not play much.

If there was ever a time to show what kind of coach he is, this is it.

Just doing okay would be a put up moment, to me.
