Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

According to Fran, this is COMPLETELY different from taking a sit-out transfer though. Because that would waste a scholarship.
My buddy was at Iowa's exhibition yesterday. From what you can take away from playing a DIII team who's tallest player is 6'5" he said...
-Cook and Weiskamp were Iowa's best players though Weiskamp had some turnovers
-Cook showed better play making and led the team in assists
-Bohannon didn't play again but they expect he'll be ready for their opener
-Connor McCaffery didn't look very good. Bad turnovers and will need to develop a better outside shot
-Baer only played like 10 mins and didn't score. He wasn't sure what's up there
-18 turnovers against a DIII school a bit concerning after that was an issue last year
Iowa's got a couple sub 250 opponents to start the year so won't be much to take away until they play in their tournament deal in a couple weeks

Two things of note for me:
1-Luka Garza played 17 minutes. I am genuinely happy for the kid to get through surgery like that and get back on the court in practice to earn time on the court. Genuinely congrats to Luka and his family.
2-Anybody notice the player with the most minutes?
That's not that bold. Everybody qualifies for the B10 tournament.
What's the basketball equivalent to a bat flip? I mean that stat line isn't it, but am waiting for Connor to do it.
And then nobody wants to watch it. Literally tons of tickets in DC were available on StubHub for the lowest allowable price.
I feel bad for Jordan. Sometimes he is asked questions, but his statements are just so unrealistically stupid. His goals for the team should be play better defense and be better than .500.
Isn't he one that grew up a Hok fan? Of course his answers are unrealistic.
