Was supposed to go to Chicago for a Dirty Heads concert and watch the TT game in Wrigleyville this weekend, but circumstances have nixed those plans. Still taking Friday off, want to make the best of a day off, and am wondering where the best breakfast spot is in Iowa? My personal favorite is The Hitchin Post in Bevington, but looking to do something different.

Wow strange. I was supposed to go to that concert and had to back out also. I always like Drake Diner. Pretty good breakfast but expensive.

Just buy a casey's breakfast pizzas and go full blown fat kid. Personal fave of mine.

I will also give a shoutout to Tommy’s in Davenport. They have in-house made donuts that you can get as an appetizer.

Biased, but restaurants in Amana. My personal favorite is the Ronneburg now that the Colony Inn is closed. Its about 10 minutes from I-80.

They will also server breakfast family style if you guys have enough folks that want to do that in your party.
