In all honesty, if Iowa and Iowa State played this week, we’d provably be looking at a 31-10 type win for Iowa. Purdy might have actually been able to lead Iowa State on one TD drive, but this Iowa team is soooooo much better than they were in week two.
Trolling aside, our defense would still keep your offense in check.
West Virginia isn't good, they're just 'good' by B12 standards. It's like how the best B12 team Texas, couldn't beat a bad B10 team in Maryland (for the second straight year), the same Maryland team that couldn't score against Iowa. It's all relative.

I think if Iowa played themselves the world would spontaneously combust. It’s the proverbial unstoppable force meeting an immovable object.
