Maryland/Iowa...

Iowa has one of their better teams this year. Expect them to run the table the rest of the year.
Next 2 games will be interesting. I think they beat PSU and 50/50 at Purdue. If they win out I think they lose to UM.

I think PSU is just vastly overrated.

I've not seen Iowa play so take it all with a grain of salt. Just looking at scores and what I've seen of the other teams.

0-1 but he already knew that.
So our winning percentage against top 25 is .333 and the Hawks is .000? How can that be when they are vastly superior?

Edit: let me answer that for them. WVU was 50 spots over ranked, and Wisconsin played the most perfect game.........ever..........to beat Iowa.

Penn State is definitely over rated.

There are multiple ISU fan's who pay to be in the lounge on HR.

Yeah, and they are Cyclone fans that are obsessed with Iowa, just like you are an Iowa fan that is obsessed with ISU. You're no different. Just accept your obsession.

I've never even visited a Hawk fan website, but that's just me, I don't really care at all what they have to say over there. I follow ISU, not Iowa.

Your hard on for Stanley is odd. He was also throwing with 40-50 mph wind gusts yesterday. Hard for any QB to throw the ball downfield. But you already knew that.
That weather yesterday was paradise compared to what Kempt dealt with in Memphis and there are Iowa fans on here that made fun of his arm.
But you already knew that (and didn't respond to them).

I'll add that I don't really care what they have to say about Campbell, Purdy, Butler, etc. either. They continually come over here for validation and seem surprised to find we still don't like them. Strange.

Bingo! It's like they HAVE to come over here and say things like.... "hey, pretty good game by Iowa's defense yesterday, right?".

And in return I say.... "I have no idea, I didn't watch the game. Don't care. I just know that Iowa plays absolutely nobody, and if they don't beat PSU, ISU will be their biggest and best win of the season hands down.".

And then they say... "but Iowa looked pretty good yesterday, right? Can't you admit that?". To which I have to say again.... "I didn't watch buddy, I don't care.".

And then I can only imagine they go cry in their Cheerios because the ISU fans on CF didn't give them the validation they so desperately need!

The funny thing is we are human an tribal by nature: We make the same excuses for our teams, same arguments for our teams and feel the same way about the opposite fan bases. As someone who put $$$ on the last couple games: I thought OK ST was over rated and WVU was an unknown. I still think they knock off a team like OU or TX.
That said, IA continues to play nobody, but it is the BIG10's fault. They cared more about $$$ and adding teams rather than having a competitive league. I think any reasonable TOE fan knows if they were playing UM, OHio ST, etc. every year, their ability to put up 10 wins would be more challenging. You also consider aspects like sandwich games and look ahead games. Things they don't worry about when they are surrounded by weak opponents.
Iowa STate will play Kansas and Baylor. Two weak Big12 schools, but they have a better balance of opponent talent.
TOE may big to the championship game, lose to UM, then play a good SEC school and lose again. That has been the recent trend because they aren't challenged in their conference.
