All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

I think it's pretty stupid for anyone to expect Iowa's WR's to improve regardless of who you root for. I don't think there is a position group at any P5 program that develops players worse than Iowa's WR group

Maybe under the Greg Davis/Bobby Kennedy regime, but now that Iowa has a stud OC and a pretty good WR coach, it’s pretty apparent that you were wrong on this one- which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

Your best WR this year is Easley and he doesn't look improved at all from last year based off his numbers and the two games I've seen. Vandeberg never improved and he was previously your best WR

Wait, according to you, Iowa's WR's were the worst in the P5 last year under a "pretty good WR coach."

That's hilarious, troll.

Iowa has had a WR drafted a lot more recently than ISU has.

Iowa fans talking about the NFL in a thread about college football? No way!

You were talking about developing players, that is a pretty good barometer of development. I mean ISU was damn near handed an NFL draft pick out of HS and they still couldn't develop him into an NFL draft pick after his senior year.

Easley has been dealing with an injury for months, you just don’t know that because our head coach doesn’t make injury excuses for lackluster performances (like some other coaches in this state). Regardless, Easley doesn’t have a very high ceiling and isn’t the type of player that is going to improve much- at this point, he kind of is what he is.

What about Iowa’s 2nd and 3rd leading receivers? Do their numbers show much improvement from last year?

McNutt's senior year he had 82 receptions for 1,315 yards and 12 tds. And he didn't even start playing WR till his sophomore year.

McNutt finished his career with 170 catches and 2,861 yards
Lazard finishes his career with 241 catches and 3,360 yards

Lol

One didn't even start to play WR till his sophomore year and the other was a four star recruit that could have went to almost any school in the country. Looks like one developed into an NFL draft pick and the other one did not.
