If Fant couldn't block you he wouldn't be on the field. See CJ Fedorowicz. I do agree Hock is the better blocker. Fant has better speed and just has that "it" factor that I know you appreciate in players. But like I said, Hock is very very close and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they both end up All-Americans.

Wow, I knew Iowa’s offense was generating a ton of big plays, but I didn’t realize those guys were averaging 17 yards per catch. Pretty crazy for a pair of true sophomores.
A guy with only 6 catches? Lmao, dude must be pretty bad. No wonder I’ve never heard of him. No shock a poor WR is able to put up stats in the defense optional Big XII, though.
CJF was a freak athlete at TE who could create ridiculous mismatches in the passing game, but was played sparingly his first few years because his blocking wasn't up to snuff.

Early on, yep, if you can't block as a TE at Iowa you won't see the field much. Which is how we know Fant can block.

The difference is we play a real schedule, they play the sisters of the poor in the Little 10 West.
I think it's pretty stupid for anyone to expect Iowa's WR's to improve regardless of who you root for. I don't think there is a position group at any P5 program that develops players worse than Iowa's WR group
