you can use these numbers if it makes your feel better, but we all know that the Big 12 has great offenses, so it may hurt the defensive numbers. The Big 10 just has terrible teams so it's easier to build up meaningless statistics.

I think he may be hated nationally because he is a giant douche bag. Just look at him. His face screams "I'M A DOUCHE BAG". I love that they are scoring points against these terrible teams. Now the fans won't be so mad when he's named head coach....or at least until he buries the program like the fat douche bag he is.
