Iowa State has played much better defenses than the trash Iowa has played in conference this year. I don't even see how that's debatable. I think you know this.FIFY
Is that Steele Jantz?
According to what site?
Iowa's offense isn't better, the Iowa coaching staff was not looking to get in to a shootout against ISU. They wanted a low scoring quick game, ISU's coaching staff played right in to it for some reason. I'm not saying Iowa wouldn't beat ISU in a shootout but the Iowa coaching staff was smart enough to realize that's the kind of game ISU would look to play. They knew they would have an advantage in a "big ten" type of game. It's not a knock, just the facts. Iowa is better built to win that type of game (bc of line play).
A team like Wisconsin is the exact opposite, they want to play a low scoring game and are better at that type of a game than Iowa. So against the Badgers, the Iowa coaching staff knew to get an advantage they would have to capitalize on an area they have the advantage, thus were more aggressive against them than ISU. They didn't want to slug it out with a bigger, more physical team.
I'm sure you'll read this in a negative light but its not, its the exact opposite. Iowa's coaching staff had a great gameplan against ISU, if they played 10 times, Iowa would use the same gameplan over and over until it was proven not to work .
You can find it, and while you're at it come back with remaining SOS and Strength of Record and bring back your shine box too.
In other words you are going to come on to your biggest rivals website, make false claims, and then tell someone else to go find the data to prove you wrong. You can find it, and while you're at it come back with remaining SOS and Strength of Record and bring back your shine box too.
I've never heard of anyone talking about remaining SOS. Don't think there's a credible site that has that option
Iowa has a better strength of record and remaining SOS so I'm not sure your argument adds up.
