Iowa State is hawkeye 3rd toughest opponent for 2018
They are pretty bad actually. The top teams in the Big 12 are OU, Texas and ISU. The crazy thing is those teams are 0-2 vs the B1G.
Bottom line:
Iowa State is legit now that they have their QB and off line set. You can't say wish we had Purdy @ Iowa because Campbell put him in when ready to be successful. Next year against Iowa will be interesting.
Iowa State has played the second hardest schedule in the nation.
It is not ISU or fans concern that Iowa continues to play a sub par schedule as the BIG is currently constructed. Iowa will continue to beat the bad teams on their schedule then get worked in a bowl game they don't deserve to be in. Yes, they are more than capable of winning against Boston College, but not a top level team.
To throw a little shade, it can't be interesting going to Kinnick to play Ill, Neb, Rutgers, etc.

Iowa also didn’t beat this form of Iowa State. Offense is completely different with Brock at qb.
Deny facts all you want. I don’t blame you for being happy you played Iowa State at the right time. Good chance it’s Iowas best win at the end of the year and it won’t be close.
Yep, you beat a team that didn't have game one, know what they had at O-line and they QB they wanted wasn't ready to start. Kudos to Iowa for winning that game. Nobody should be talking about, "if we had Purdy," or anything like that because no use in attempting to rewrite history. However, if you are being honest, nobody can Deny that Purdy has transformed this team into what Campbell wants this offense to look like ad I wouldn't be thrilled if I was Iowa fans going into next years game.
He congrats. Hope we can deliver you what will be your only win versus a ranked team this year. Cyclones on the other hand could very well get their 3rd one in 2 weeks.
CMC is KF’s ***** so not worried.....if CMC leaves for greener pastures and you rehire Rhoads then I’ll be worried

Sadly if your team put half the emphasis into your home game with a poor Wisconsin team as they did the Iowa State game you guys could go undefeated in your little division.

Typical online ignorance. First year coaches have to establish own culture. KF had a bad record to start. Same with Neb and UCLA this year. You know they won't be that bad.
LAst year, ISU didn't have the depth. IT's simple science. Lima didn't play tonight and that D0line still dominated. Before, if Lima would go out, ISU would have walk-on level talent
KF had NFL rumors for years and stayed. Sure, CMC could leave, but it shouldn't be in your, or anyones mindset since he has said he wants to build something here, rather than just another coach in a list at a bigger school.
Lastly, you didn't respond to anything I said. Life plays out like it us supposed to. Purdy wasn't ready against Iowa and the first game being cancelled made a huge deal in personnel decisions. I think they have that established now and we know they will be stacked next year where Iowa (mentioning them specifically for this thread) will have to deal with a completely different skill set, offense scheme and success the likes ISU hasn't had under CMC yet.
Lastly, enjoy playing the sub par teams of the BIG 10. Do you acknowledge your BIG10 west is poor competition?
Will any of those teams have a winning record at the end of the season.
Purdue is the only one w certainty. Everyone else is 50/50 at best. Pretty weak stuff.
