He is actually a pretty pleasant guy. I ran into him in Beverly Hills at a great local diner, Nate and Al's. He was waiting at the door right beside us, dressed in a......you guessed it.......Raiders outfit. The kind you always see him in, pants, shirts, jacket. I said hello to him and shook his hand. Had a quick chat about his impact on the NFL, especially the merger back in the day, as well as his coaching experience. A lot less conceited person than you would expect. While I think as of late he doesn't realize the harm he is doing to his team, the guy loves football and the Raiders, that much was apparent. He was also happy to talk to everybody. I guess your opinion of people gets skewed if you have met them.
