Got this from someone working on stuff for the Alumni Association.

HOOTERS!
Free Beer & Cheap Grub at the Vegas Hooters Casino!!!
Friday from 5pm till 10pm – buffet for 10.00 & free Miller Lt’s for
anyone wearing the Iowa State colors.
Saturday – same as above with specials, starts at 10am till 5pm ish.
We will have bands going on around hotel, pool party, giveaways, Hooter
Girls, and lots of football.
Come over and let me know if you need anything else. We will start in
Pete & Shorty’s, and move over to Dixie’s if we get too many fans. We
have lots of space, so tell everyone.

Many people I have talked to are planning to go to Hooters and then possibly to Margaritaville. The band at Margaritaville starts at 11 and they have a huge area for Cyclones to hang out--no program. There isn't a rally on Friday night. ISUAA and Athletics Tailgate on Saturday with a brief program at 4:45 or so (Cy, Cheer/dance squad, Jamie and Jeff Johnson).

It's possible I'll have a big night in the poker room Friday and be able to rent out a few suites, but more probable we'll be in section 108 as well, 14 rows up from you!

Aw, that's awesome!! I just found out that I may have to hunt down a seat next to a friend, since my husband may be having a work meeting during the game. :sad: Hopefully we'll both be over there, though!
A work meeting ... at 8 PM Central ... On a Saturday! Sounds fishy to me!!

Are people going to be wearing a name tag with their Cyclone Fanatic userID on them? I was thinking about doing that.
I was shocked that a dr would schedule it at that time. Orthodontists and their golf schedules.... :wink:
How about 9 drunks? We are all friendly drunks but we can stick the really drunk ones in the trunk. And we are going back to the Excalibur too. :wink:
I think we are taking the bus out there (which I'm sure will be an adventure)...anyone else going that route?
The other couple going with us bought ours and we still don't know where we're sitting. I hate the not knowing. It's killing me.
