IMO the special teams turnovers cost us the game. We moved the ball...just too many mistakes
First time I've seen Iowa since we played them. My honest thoughts;
Stanley actually looked really good through 3 quarters. The 4th quarter was rough on him and he choked when they needed him though
Iowa's CB's are bad, especially #11
Wisconsin's OL completely controlled the line of scrimmage. Iowa's DL was probably pretty overhyped going into this game and more a product of who they had played so far
That JUCO RB nobody wanted is really bad

That game was a lot like last year's Penn State game.
Through four games, an honest assessment of Iowa and Iowa State: I think Iowa and Iowa State are virtual mirror-images of each other this year, which played out in their game against each other. Iowa's defensive line is good, but not as great as everyone made it out to be. ISU's offensive line is nearly as bad as we feared it may be after that Iowa game.
We are both above average, but not great football teams. The difference in the record of the end of the season will be a direct reflection of the difference in the strength of schedule.

Kind of a rough game with the TOs and the really cheap TD at the end, but the bright side is that Penn State is the only team left on Iowa's schedule that the Hawks can't beat with one hand tied behind their back. The West is the far side of awful and they get to play the worst of the crossover teams. HR will be convinced they are Bama in a couple weeks.
If we played each other now there's no doubt in my mind we would win. Wisconsin isn't that good and just beat them by double digits at their own house
Shaun Beyer is the scapegoat amongst Iowa fans this morning. They’re even going as far to say they want his scholarship taken away. What an awful fanbase.
Just saw the highlights. "Dagger" by Wisky at the end. I loved it!d I loved it! I loved it!! "Historic" defeat in Kinnick? You still have Nebraska yet to take it out on.
