I think it is funny you are here pontificating about Captain Kirk's outstanding recruiting and the talent gap yesterday then when challenged on why he isn't doing more with the incredible depth and talent disparity between the two programs you suddenly don't care about the delta between the two.

Who said one game isn’t important, I’m just saying I’m not going into worry yet. Drew Tate got injured in Ames and Iowa finished the season at 7-5, which is close to Kirk’s average.

Just wanted to tag on this thread. You can see why Iowa offered Sargent and, as a result, didn’t have room for Brock. Without Sargent they are down to a freshman as the 2nd string running back. They needed depth for this year. Sargent looks like a really good player. Glad he’s a Hawk.
