Well, since we’ve established you’re a liar, as Iowa certainly did not prepare only for ISU since last summer, why should anyone believe anything you say? Liar.
You are a walking, talking case of butthurt. And honestly, he isn't that far off. Our defenses are both pretty good, your offense has an o-line that can block. And we got outcoached. Don't think the talent is worlds apart like it used to be.
Still boggles my mind that Pollard would think it was a good idea to 1) try and schedule a game against a team that offers zero football scholarships and then 2) tweet about it letting the whole world know what he tried to do.
He could also go all Nebraska and expect that SDSU forfeit the game and give ISU the win.
He doesn't have many obviously, but Drake??? Come on man. No way is that a good idea for anyone. Would get players seriously injured.
Nebraska and ISU makes perfect sense, but neither school wants to play a game they could lose. They both want easy games to try and be bowl eligible.
Im actually kind of surprised getting a win over a school like Drake would count towards bowl eligibility.
I asked what our options are. I didn't say Drake was the best option nor would I want to play them. Reality is there are very few options out there for us to schedule a game during our bye week or championship Saturday. Jamie needs to turn over every stone, which it seem he has, to help us become bowl eligible.
Without knowing much info I can only assume he was trying to help Drake out financially. I'm not sure how Drake would compare to Southern or Presbyterian which are two of the other schools that have been floated out there
