Biggest disadvantage in the CyHawk Series since 1980

Not when there is another really good player he is stuck behind. Was it laughable not to start Josh Jackson his sophomore year? No, because he had two good players in front of him. It happens. Epenesa will still play a ton of snaps and get his chance to start next season when’s Hesse graduates.
Stats matter how many pounds of fried chicken is dropsy going to eat saturday before the game?

From what I hear, that is the exact reaction the offensive staff had when they saw IKM in practice for the first time.

Isn't he the backup or wasn't he until recently? Can't be that good if the other two backs ahead of him are just situational guys

Good chance that IKM doesn't even play or is very limited.

Interesting. Luckily your RBs as a whole are better than ours apparently so you must have a lot of guys that can slide in and dominate a game like Montgomery

I think our RBs are very solid, but Montgomery is on another level.

No, IKM is the starter. Not sure where you are getting that the other two are ahead of him.

Wasn't he recently the backup on the depth chart?

At the start of fall camp, yes. IMO it’s actually pretty significant that he moved ahead of an older, more established player who is a member of Iowa’s leadership council.

So if they've been so high on him why would he be the backup to a guy that's just a situational RB at the start of fall camp?

Hawks 31, ISU 20. Close game at half, and we grind you down in the fourth quarter. Stanley plays effectively and mistake-free.

Well he says he's "going to be that good."
Didn't we all think that of Brandon Wegher too?

To be fair, Wegher was pretty damn good, just had some personal issues that forced him to leave the University.

So Jake Ruducok > Brad Banks?
you keep using this and it continues to be invalid. Brad Banks had one of the greatest offensive lines in Iowa football history. I believe four guys who played in the NFL. Rudock had a better arm. He made better decisions. There’s a reason Brad Banks didn’t play in the NFL.

If you guys would stop bringing up Player A's draft potential vs Player B's then he would stop bringing up Banks > Rudock.
