Biggest disadvantage in the CyHawk Series since 1980

Yet "experts" disagree....

Go ahead and cherry pick the ones that suit your argument, while ignore or discount the ones that counter your argument...

Link to any “expert” disagreeing? I have not seen a single individual that is not an Iowa State fan who thinks Iowa State has a better DL.

Again, your false narrative....

Some sites have called our Dline the best in the B12, you've seen it posted, go dig it up if you want.

MY point was I don't think there is any legitimate way you can say "its not even close" because it is "close."

Actually, I haven’t seen anything calling Iowa State the best DL in the Big XII. Would love to see those links.

Wow the hokroaches are out like crazy and it's daylight! Can't believe how many triggered, low life, inbred, people from out east come post on a cyclone message board. It's beyond pathetic!

Considering you posted a few spots later I doubt your honesty.

Good article on ISU and where they rank our DL since Iowa fans aren't high on what ISU has there

Now I will sit back and let you dissect how wrong and error filled those rankings are, because go hoks.

Great example actually! I'd say that obviously players like Weisman and Cocker were products of the system. Wadley has some unique talents, but isn't a pro IMO. Greene obviously was dominating. Young, Russell were quality backs as well.

I don't know who Iowa's backs are but I saw their first half the other day. Strong runners but not blazing which is what Montgomery is.

Greene was that rare back that was fun to watch despite not a lot of flashy play.

It is pretty simple. The NFL is gonna draft the more TALENTED player. In college or HS kids can rack up STATS in a system, that doesn't make them talented. Heck I even said that happens with Iowa and RB, it happens with QB's in college all the time. Stanley clearly has an NFL arm and talent, Kempt doesn't.

I think Stanley has the NFL size but I'm not sure where anyone thinks his arm is great. Lots of curveballs in the dirt that I saw last week.

So Jake Rudock was a better college QB than Brad Banks?

If there was ever the definition of a system QB, it's Brad Banks.

I had friends who were in the program and since he couldn't read defenses they basically gave him two reads off of the play action to flip it to Clark or the 2nd level so long as the running game was going, which it was that season.

We won the 2002 game in large part to selling out against the run (especially in the 2nd half). Dared Brad Banks to beat us with his arm. He couldn't do it.

The only other team that rolled with that strategy against them was USC. We all know how that went for Banks and Co.

Granted, this was 16 years ago:confused: so my memory may be off, but I don't recall any B10 foes selling out against their run game.

Didn't hurt that Seneca was awesome and that Banks gifted you guys two fumbles. Part of the game, but those fumbles were some bad breaks for us and good fortune for you guys.

I assume this is a typo and you meant to say amazing or something? There are a lot of adjectives you could use to describe Montgomery; blazing is not one of them.
