Iowa needed a handicap anyway. So we spot them 1 game of experience. Pretty even fight, now.

Oh there's no doubt we're the more talented and better coached team it just feels like we're racing them in a 400 and giving them a 100 meter head start

Under some of the previous coaches at ISU not finishing the first game would have been a huge disadvantage. Not worried at all about CMC and his staff. They do such a good job of evaluating not only talent, but how guys are practicing. ISU will be fine.

Nah, coach speak. I think it might’ve been a blessing in disguise. We have a full game tape on what they did with multiple players playing as they searched at a few positions and they have 5 plays of ours with basically one set of personnel. When we line up against them next week it could be nothing they’ve seen because they have no tape and defensively if we stick with the 3 man front, they didn’t see much of that vs us last year. We are fully healthy and will be ready.

Walden may have gone 0-8, but ISU was actually in several of those games -- and had legit chances to win 2.

CMC seems to love him some adversity so this might be a fun week for him.

The main thing is no injuries and playing well enough to have confidence going into OU week.

That may be a good measurement for where the program really is.

No injuries. Players chomping at bit to play. Iowa no look at new guys. All of our suspended players back. Iowa fans unrealistic expectations after 3-o half-time lead. Seeing niu how pushed herky the turkey around first half etc.

Quit making excuses.

I don't find this as much as a disadvantage with this years team. It sucks, but the most important thing is everyone is healthy and the suspended players are back. I bet the players are hungry to play and will show out against Iowa.

Please send an email to the staff that Jones for ISU is really all they have on offense and focus their whole week around stopping him.

Also maybe watch some film from 2015 to get ready for Mike Warren.

Eh, last years team certainly didn't do that. We improved the most after week 4. The only thing it hurts is game experience for freshman.
