Did they really put the Mid-American Energy logo on the field?
Yes. And Iowa will do the same thing too in a year or two, mark it down. It's basically a free 1.5 million a year. Smart.

I'm not so sure. Our run blocking looked terrible from the one run i remember.Been saying it for a while but our rbs are gonna have a fun time running against Iowa.

Wasn't Jones supposed to be good? How did the solid sophomore WRs look?
Iowa was seriously facing the possibility of having to cancel their game yesterday when their field fell apart a few days before, and ISU fans were indeed poking fun that if it would have been cancelled KF would count that as the players suspension.
Now that the reverse actually happened, ISU fans think yesterday's game should count for ISU's players suspension.
Both teams and their fans would do the same thing in this situation, and everyone knows it.

Not the best games from ISM or Smith or Jones. But as you said earlier a lot of strides are made from week 1 to week 2. Plenty of other things to be very pleased with though. TJ Hockenson is a stud, and the secondary was lights out. Was just really happy to watch the Hawks play yesterday. Honestly really did feel for clone fans last night. Had a bunch of friends tailgating in their usual spot at JT yesterday with their bus, and they were just miserable.

Aren't you the one who suggested that Bulaga's knee injuries with the Packers were Doyle's fault?
It really wasn't meant as a dig. They had a great time up until about 7:45 when they sat in limbo for 3 hours.Nice little dig you got in there smart a**. And I don't believe you either. If your "friends" didn't have fun tailgating all day in their bus in their usual spot, that's on them. Everyone I saw yesterday tailgating were having a blast. Weather was great all day.
And.... you didn't feel for clone fans last night either, just admit it. You loved it, or you wouldn't have made a point to post it.
I am glad you posted that the most strides are made between game 1 and game 2 though, because that is true. Which is why I'm no longer thinking ISU will win next week since it will now be their game 1. Hopefully we'll be ready to go for game 2 against OU the following week.
We will have to agree to disagree. There were a number of posts on here after Kinnick flooded wondering if the Iowa players would be suspended for the ISU game if their first game was cancelled. The comments were rather telling. I have to believe, based on posting history, we would see something along the lines of Iowa players being suspended for missing no games.

B. Smith needs to relax. Kid doesn't look comfortable out there. If he can't get it figured out he'll be another Jacob Hillyer, great measurables and athleticism who just couldn't catch the goddam ball.
Uhhhh, wut? Are you still drunk from yesterday?
Or maybe just pressing for his first start ever.Shocking he went from future stud to doesn't look comfortable playing football

Believe what you want.I'm glad you're getting some amusement out of this. Good for you.
Yeah, this is what you said:
"That's what you get with Doyle, you should know that by now. They are all built up like monsters, which is great, up until the point they break down. Look at Bulaga, he's been injured like every single year as a Packer. He's practically been off the field longer than on it."
That's actually from earlier in this thread.
And that has absolutely NOTHING to do with having the MidAmerican Energy logo on our football field. I still don't understand your link to that at all, sorry.
BTW... I stand by my Bulaga remarks too. He's a great player, but is injured nearly every single year. I don't know why his body constantly breaks down, but it sure breaks down a lot.
