It's like they feel threatened that we're the largest school in the state, best basketball program in the state, soon to be best football program in the state, and also is home to the most instate kids now as well.

The Big Ten will still have the advantages it has today. If it doesn’t then the Big 12 is really in trouble. What I meant about Texas looking for a life raft is they would leave the Big 12 if OU does. Sure they can go wherever they want but that woulnt be to remain carrying the Big 12.

Iowa has no power over their conference schedule or which division they are put in. While these schedules aren't ideal, I would much rather be in the B1G than the Big 12 for obvious reasons.

The chance of having more 12-0 (0-2) fake id seasons. That is not as easy to do in the Big 12.
