Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

What about Mike Warren being better than Wadley? That was another really bad one.

You just said Iowa had the worst WR's in all of power conference football and you're hoping they are solid and consistent this year without adding anyone of significance and losing either your best or second best WR from last year and you're calling me out? Lol get a grip

Vandeberg was awful last year. The injuries completely zapped him of his quickness. It’s a shame, really. I don’t think it is that unrealistic to think a pair of true freshmen with really good athleticism can improve.

Also, way to deflect from another terrible talent eval.

Vamdeberg had 384 yards last year. Smith-Marsette and Brandon Smith COMBINED for 202 yards last year.

To say your WR group will lose their second best player and add nobody of significance and still manage to go from the worst WR's in all of power conference football to solid and consistent is laughable

Sometimes it's hard to tell, but I do know that.

Just showing that every fan base has "serious homers"
I will point out when we are bad. We were bad in basketball last year. We've had lots of bad years in football. But we are heading in the right direction with both programs. It's a lot more than I can say for Iowa football and basketball right now.

You said "better" not higher ranked.

If you read the context of the whole conversation it was all about recruiting rankings which is why I said better. Like it's been pointed out before the three freshman OT's that had to play last year all struggled

Way to add in an injury when you never mentioned that as a reason of Iowa's WRs being the worst in the Power conferences.

Maybe. He's a high ceiling kid if he can figure it out between his ears

High ceiling? Lol. He has cinder blocks for feet and has a ton of work to do on his body. Maybe he has a high ceiling as a guard- don’t see many guards that tall though. Color me skeptical.

Lol how can you disagree with this @benjimill when it's literally a fact?

He's a RS So.

Not exactly small at 6'8 312 (bigger than Campos ever was at 6'8).

Young players can improve, right?
