ISU's OL was bad last year but not near as bad as Iowa's WR's (one of the worst in all of P5 football) and my goal is ISU's OL just to be average this year. I think expecting Iowa's WR's to be anything but pretty terrible is overly optimistic

You don't win games, scoring 30+ points, if your Oline is one of the worst. Pass blocking, we have a better than average line last year. I havent seen this years yet but I would guess they wouldnt be significantly worse with 3-4 returning starters.

I should have specified "run blocking". They were pathetic. I assume they will be better but that doesn't mean they will be. New coach, as well.

I wouldn't get too excited. Iowa only opens up the offense for us and maybe one other team. The rest of the time, your receivers pretty much just block from what I can tell.

nobody thought they would actually throw to him. I guess it makes sense Iowa saved all their "trick plays"(yes throwing the ball to a WR is a trick play for KF) for their biggest rival.
