I will be in Minneapolis on the 8th attending a concert at Surly but want to catch as much of the game as possible before heading to the brewery. Anyone know of a bar that might be showing the game? I see UofM is a 8 minute drive to Surly so there might be something there? Thanks for any ideas.

Looks like I’ll be hosting the ISU alumni game watch. Having it at Darby’s downtown. Boxster provided a link to it above. Should be a good time. Usually get a good crowd for the Iowa game, and Darby’s loves us Cyclones. Plus, I’ll have a **** ton of stuff to give away as well.

Do you know what Directv station it will be on for those outside of Iowa?

@cyrocksmypants , whats the best way to get into downtown Minneapolis from the south? Is 35 open or all torn up?TIA.

35 is all tore up still. I live uptown, so when I’m coming from the south, I usually just get off in Bloomington then take Lyndale all the way up. Lyndale will take you to Hennepin/Downtown as well. Not sure if there’s an easier way up, but that’s how I do it. It’s a pretty straight shot still, just have to deal with stop lights. You could probably got over to 55 east of 35 and take that up, but I feel like that would take you a significant way out of the way.
