Tongamoa not listed (as was expected with his suspension).
A few position battles of note: 1 WR spot, back up DT with Tongamoa out, MLB, back up RB, Kicker, Punt return.

I really think it may happen. NIU has a decent defense and Iowa's offensive line will be bad that game. Week 2, anything is possible, but we are clearly the better team this year.
I don't think there is a real legit chance that it happens. I don't NIU can hang with a P5 team even though that power 5 team is missing players for this game. I also tend to trust the vegas line generally speaking. Vegas still has it as Iowa -9.5 based on what I am seeing. It might be closer than Iowa would like but I doubt they lose. Iowa hope the weather there is decent(as rain looks like a possibility) so the field is in decent shape for the following week.

Honestly, special teams are probably a push. Iowa has the advantage in the kicking game but I feel pretty confident Iowa States punter is better than whoever Iowa throws out there.
