Hand foot and mouth disease can be awful. It's seen a resurgence recently. Usually just affects kids, but can be brutal for adults too. My daughter picked it up at daycare when she was about 2 years old. I felt so bad for her. She just laid on the floor sobbing. The sores in her mouth wouldn't let her eat, and they bled all over. If I could have traded places with her I would have.... And then she gave it to me. It was one of the worst weeks of my life.

I got it last week after visiting a I door waterpark. I had to miss one day of work with headaches, nauasea, aches, dizziness. Took medicine to suppress symptoms the next few days. Got the blisters on my hands on the third and fourth days. It was my own personal plagues of Egypt.
