Whoa. These are some eye popping numbers

In the Big 10 in 2017, Stanley finished 10th in completion percentage (55.8%), 7th in yards (2,473), was sacked 4th most, and only threw for greater than 300 yards once.

Nationally, Stanley doesn’t even crack the top 50 in the following statistical categories for quarterbacks: Passing yards, completions per game, completion percentage, passing yards per game, passing yards per completion. Finally, he finished 52nd nationally in passing efficiency.

For comparison, through 9 games, Kyle Kempt’s efficiency rating was 11 points higher than Stanley’s.

Doyle really has me confused on this one

To this? Is it bad for a QB to have a neck nowadays?

Reading that Iowas receivers have the droppsies. Wonder if it is because Stanley throws to hard?

Sounds like Barrington Wade might be forcing his way into that third starting LB role. Morehouse seems to think that Iowa will shift Niemann to WLB to make room for Wade at OLB.

He’s listed as the backup to Niemann at OLB. KF started mentioning him in the spring as a guy who was making a move, and I guess he has continued that into the fall.

Redshirt Sophomore, listed at 6’1”, 235. Was listed on all recruiting services as a RB out of high school with mostly MAC-level offers.

Gotcha. I saw Stanley was listed at 6'5 212 as a freshman and now he's 6'4 242? 30 lbs, most of it looking like bad weight, while shrinking an inch is unheard of for a QB. Wow

Extra padding for all the hits he takes

One thing is for sure, between Kempt and Stanley, I know which build the NFL prefers- and it’s not a string bean like Kempt.
