CBS Bowl Predictions

Other than it being the day after Christmas...

The Playoffs are not in January, so those bowls don't matter. All that matters are January bowls, or so I'm told.

Kind of stinks its the day after Christmas, but Christmas in Phoenix wouldn't be bad. Also getting a Pac 12 opponent would be good.

The Cactus Bowl date sucks. Our fan base would still have a good showing but the date makes travel really difficult.

I live in Kansas and heard that from KSTATE fans last year. Maybe I need to hold on tighter to tradition, but it seems a bit of a cop out.

If we met the wins requirement would we be a lock to go back to Memphis? Or do you think they'd massage the bowl bids?

For me it's not a cop out. We have been planning on attending a bowl game this year but this is literally the one date that really won't work...

This bowl scenario is based on Oklahoma making the playoffs. I don't see them "running the table" in the Big 12.

If all of our bowl tie-ins will bump one step lower, where does that put us? Camping World Bowl in Orlando? Texas Bowl in Houston?

I'm going to be "that guy". Based on the bowl projection shown who are our wins against?

KU, KSU, BU, TTU, SDSU... who else?

I agree, I don't see a playoff team in the Big 12 this year. The problem with the Texas Bowl is that they are going to most likely grab an in state team just for ticket sales... IMO we either end up in the Camping World Bowl or Cactus.

1. Sugar Bowl vs. SEC
2. Valero Alamo Bowl vs. Pac-12
3. Camping World Bowl vs. ACC
4. Texas Bowl vs. SEC
5. AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. SEC
6. Cactus Bowl vs. Pac-12
7. Armed Forces Bowl vs. American Athletic

When was the last time we have had a serious conversation in August about bowl possibilities? Feels good, but a little strange.

Akron, maybe Iowa, maybe OU, maybe anyone else because Campbell has gotten us to the point where we compete with anyone.

Forgot about Akron. I'd like to think we beat TOE, OSU, UT, and WVU this year, and compete closely with OU and TCU again.
