Exagerate much? There’s a few in the NFL and ones from the past. Don’t recall any of them risking their careers on a single game.
Lol, Derpy is the correct adjective for you. Gullible would also be acceptable.
Kempt played a tougher schedule and even though Stanley looks like an FCS QB this isn't accurate. What was his drop rate? Fant has stone hands but I doubt it's one of the worst in college football
It doesn’t matter if Kempt played an overall tougher schedule. Why would the overall strength of the opponent matter when a QB only faces the opponent’s defense? Stanley played against tougher defenses than Kempt. The quality of the opponent’s offense isn’t really relevant.
Nice troll attempt on the Fant comment. Not going to engage that one.
Also, I would have to look it up, but I believe 10% of Stanley’s catchable passes were dropped, which was like the 120th worst rate in FCS. Iowa’s receivers (not counting the TEs) dropped over 30 passes last year.
The guy that wants to keep it on topic, LOL.I suppose you think Russell Westbrook is the best player in the NBA then?
How awful are the offenses you faced if Kempt played "much easier defenses" but still played a tougher schedule?
Link to your made up stats?
How is that an exaggeration? I’m floored a guy plays a college football game less than a week after surgery. Really putting a lot on the line for that game and putting the rest of his career in jeopardy.Exagerate much?
My man, you're scoring with some solid jabs. But you keep dropping your gloves when you say FCS. You've done that twice now.It doesn’t matter if Kempt played an overall tougher schedule. Here you go; I know how much you guys love PFF here. I was slightly off on the specifics, but the substance of the argument remains the same.
So all those were the receivers fault? Park had an arm but there were times he threw a rocket to a guy 5 yards downfield. The WR did everything they could to get their hands in position and try to squeeze it in but sometimes it’s just a poor pass. Part of being a good QB is throwing catchable balls.
I never said every drop was a receiver’s fault. I’m not going to go through and watch every single throw Stanley made last year, but the receivers dropped a TON of catchable balls last year.
The point is simple- Stanley was throwing to a group of WRs that by any measure was pretty bad last year. Kempt was throwing to the best WR in school history and another WR Iowa State fans think is NFL-caliber. If you can’t acknowledge that is a massive advantage for Kempt and that it likely explains a significant amount of the statistical differences between the two QBs, you simply aren’t being objective.
Hawk trolls here have mentioned Fant is a first round pick guy. If so, that would be better than a guy who hawk trolls said dropped the ball all the time and wasn’t drafted. (Lazard). You trolls need to not flip flop so much so we can keep up with you.
There is no flip-flopping, and those statements aren’t even inconsistent- your own @CyTwins points out all the time that college football and NFL football are completely different animals. Iowa’s receivers dropped more passes than almost any other team in college football. If you’re trying to dismiss that fact by blaming it on the QB, you are the one that is trolling.
So we are using twins parameters?
Noah Fant is a stud college football player and an elite NFL prospect. That doesn’t mean that he is leaps and bounds better as a college player than a guy like Lazard, who went undrafted despite being the most decorated WR in Iowa State history. Furthermore, if you polled Iowa State fans, they probably think they have 3 or 4 WRs that are better than every WR on Iowa’s roster. Iowa having one guy like Fant does not negate the fact that their WR group was bad last year.
Again, if you can’t understand how having a better group of WRs might help a QB put up better stats, there is no point in having a conversation with you; you are either too stupid or too much of a homer to engage in meaningful discussion.
I have a fairly solid grasp of football, just trying to see how you contort yourself before you finally throw in the towel on a chunk of your previous trolls. I see we are there. I’m finished.
