To my knowledge, he has not been banned from the facilities.
I have no idea on the timeline of events which led to him ultimately leaving, but his own father was quoted saying Brandon had some issues he needed to deal with.
Your guess is as good as mine as to what all happened. What we know is Brandon has/had an issue with alcohol, and things spiraled to this point. I just don't think it's fair to tie Wirfs' character with all of that.

Curious, what are the responsibilities of the football coaches to a player who has left the team? Do you know they didn’t offer him support, just not as part of the team?

What he was saying, it sounded like they suspended him from the game and facilities while he was still with the team. If you’re with the team, the coaches darn well should be looking out for the players and not only worrying about certain ones.
So you’re saying the team is in the wrong here? As little as we know about the situation, what happened, and the circumstances, the team is the bad guy? Even though his father and they player have had nothing bad to say about the football staff?
If a player, not saying Snyder, had done something divisive enough to get suspended for a lengthy period of time why should he be allowed in the facilities. To my knowledge, it is common practice to suspend players from the facilities when they’re suspended from the team.

That didn’t work, so you’re trying this. Something, other than being a young man who made a mistake, is wrong with the character of Wirffs.
While different issues it seems similar to Park. The major difference is Snyder was smart enough to depart amicably, which I would suspect is why he had an immediate landing spot. I think Park’s departure blind sided the staff, coupled with his school hopping has made it much harder for him to get a landing spot. All speculation I know.

I couldn’t disagree more. The kid made some really big mistakes, but it sounds like he worked hard etc. I think that it is as testament to the kid that the program said ‘this is it, you have made one to many mistakes, we still would like to see you succeed.” I have zero problem w that.
There is no way SDSU takes him without knowing the entire story.
