Ok. I know this sounds crazy given the timing and given my massive credibility with having like only 5 posts, but bear with me here.

My brother's best friend from high school is a grad assisitant or intern or whatever at Iowa's Sports Info Office. Here's the e-mail he sent to my bro that just got forwarded to me a few minutes ago:


Just got a call from B----. There are rumors flying around the building here that Stanzi might have broken a bone in his throwing hand in practice yesterday. Or hurt it, anyway. B said he’d normally think it was bull****, but he was eating dinner last night sitting outside the football complex and he saw all the players leave after practice except JC and RS, and then after a looooong time he saw JC leave and then like, ten minutes later saw RS leave with a huge icepack on his hand.
Haven’t heard anything definite yet, but I’ll keep u posted.

Actually, I just made an account here to post this exact news. I don't have the hooks this TeamAmerica guy does, but my uncle works at the U of I hospitals and this has been all over the hospital. Word is Jake is starting, but he hasn't had hardly any reps all week.
