Do you think it is worthy of some sort of suspension, or something that should be handled internally?
1 game suspension for a public intox and no game suspension for an OWI? That's messed up
KF is really throwing out some praise for Cole Banwart. He mentioned him during bowl prep last year and it sounds like he has had a great summer.
KF also said today at Media Day that he thinks the OL can be good, likes the RB's and really likes Stanley and the progress he has made.

Is it an odd thing for a coach to want his best player to come back for his senior year?
Gallery and Scherff were projected as 1st rounders and came back. KF is going to support the kid no matter what they decide. Obviously, its better for Iowa football if Fant comes back.
Agreed. By him saying he hopes he's back he definitely is putting that ahead of Fant's best interests
Not sure it's an outrage. Definitely a bad look for KF and an odd thing to say
It sure is and I am sure Northwestern thinks the same thing.
