Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

I love when you discuss elite athletes.
One minute Garza is offensively elite, one minute he's an out of shape role player.

Now this turd of a take. Jeez.

Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive and you are not very bright if you think that they are.

Please enlighten me on how my “turd of a take” on Brock is wrong.

The Notre Dame offer wasn’t committable. And considering there has been nothing linking Brock to Michigan State since they “offered”, I’m going to guess the same is true there. If you want to believe that Brock had a valid offer from MSU and was considering Purdue and Minnesota instead, knock your socks off.
Okay, so you're full of ****? Got it

The Notre Dame offer wasn’t committable. That is a fact that you cannot dispute without looking like a moron. If you want to believe that the MSU offer was valid and Brock preferred Purdue, Iowa State, and Minnesota, go for it.

Yeah he’s a very strong and powerful runner. Not going to make anybody miss in the open field, though. Regardless, I didn’t realize that offers from Minnesota, Iowa State, and Northwesterm = elite prospect. Strange that such an elite prospect didn’t have any elite schools after him.

It's funny Kakert said on the radio "Brock is the absolute perfect RB for Iowa's offense" when Iowa was thought to be the leader. Does that mean Iowa doesn't want RBs that can make defenders miss in the open field?

That’s how it appears- it seemed like they were reluctant to make Wadley a feature back even though he was clearly the most talented back on the team. I think they’d rather have a physical, Leshun Daniels/Toren Young/Jirehl Brock type back as the predominant ballcarrier, and mix in an Akrum Wadley/ Ivory Kelly-Martin/Tyler Goodson type back for 10-15 touches per game.

Well that certainly puts an end to Iowa wanting Goodson over Brock laughable narrative that some idiots and morons tried to put out there

Huh? Double huh??

Are you saying that it’s your position that players never consider offers from “lesser” schools if they also have offers from “better” schools? What a completely myopic viewpoint.

How many times have Iowa fans bragged about landing a recruit who had big-time offers? Or don’t those count because you consider Iowa to be one of those coveted “better” schools?

Absurd take. And arrogant as well.

Anytime an athlete gets an offer from 2 of B1G West schools they should be considered special.
