All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Right. Do you not think the perception of the quality of a college football program is determined largely by how many guys they put into the NFL?

is this a joke? Winning in college football determines the quality of your college football program.

You dont think that has any perception effect on Iowa? Trolls on here have said Barta effectively works for Ferentz.

Also, good job not responding to Senior Day booing. That's a tough one to not do for Kinnicks best.

No. Ask any objective college football person and they'll tell you that KF is among the most admired, respected, high-character men in the sport. You disagree?

Barta does work for Ferentz and I can't wait for him to be gone.

Every fanbase has dumbasses.

Haha, yeah that's how I'd answer if I were you, too.

You think draft success is more important for perception than winning games? NC State had the second most players drafted last year. I had to look up to realize they even snuck in the final top 25. They finished 23rd FWIW

If you don’t believe it, that’s fine. Common sense indicates that it is pretty unlikely Iowa would fire half its offensive position coaches and keep the OC, but you can choose to believe whatever you want. It’s not really important.

I disagree. You cant say money doesn't matter to you, yet have a son live in the same town as you do, in low incoming housing.
Brian obviously filed to move in there but there is zero rational chance he or his wife didnt know.

When did Iowa fire half their offensive position coaches?

Dont believe it? You said he was fired, then I asked you and you said he wasnt but he effectively was.
And he was also at normal retirement age, so that doesn't help your case.

Bama
LSU
Ohio St.
NC St.
FSU
Georgia
Miami
Penn St.
Florida
Stanford

That was the top-10 in the 2018 draft. But sure, there's no correlation at all between winning games and draft success. If my program turned a 4* top-10 WR recruit with good speed and crazy measurables into an UDFA, I'd probably say the same thing.

You disagree that, outside of Ames, KF is widely considered one of the most admired, respected, high-character men in college football?

Not among "the most." Not more than Dabo, Saban, Gary Patterson, Peterson, Shaw, Franklin, Snyder....
