All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

MLB is impossible to predict because Jones is probably going to start there for Iowa and he only has special teams reps in his career. Vance has never played a down.

Not sure how you can put Eisworth in there over Snyder. Also, I would take Stanley but know that you will disagree there.

Interesting that you have 8 ISU players and 3 Iowa guys on offense and also an 8 to 3 spread on defense. Thats a really wide edge to ISU but you think ISU loses in Kinnick?

So your list is below?

QB- Stanley
RB- Montgomery
TE- Fant

I'm honestly surprised you admitted ISU's defense is more talented than Iowa's. I'm glad to know you researched more on Eaton since it was only like two months ago when you had never even heard of him

I never said that. I have 2 starters from each school.

Also, Epenesa and Hesse are easily 3 and 4 when it comes to DE's that arent on this list.

You only have 4 Iowa players listed on defense...

I read your comment as defensive line for some reason and not defense, my bad.

Im not afraid to be objective, you should try it once in a while.

8-3 on each side is a joke.

No idea why you turdnibblers are only listing one RB, three WRs, no all-purpose. Use the same model as AP All American team. Duh.

I agree that Hesse in terms of production is definitely 3.

I'd also state that ISU will have a couple of DE's that will be very good players this year opposite of Bailey.

First off, who is Young and Jones. Second off Bailey is first team All Big 12 going into this season...

What is your "group text" telling you?

Lol that's actually where it came from but I'm not sure if it's true. I guess there's just talk he's not well liked by his teammates and didn't want to be on some good player committee or something but then got pissed when he didn't get invited to media days because he "knows he's the most important player on the team"

Let's get this back on track. Any Hawk fans disagree with any here?

QB- Kempt
RB- Montgomery
TE- Fant
WR- Butler
WR- Jones or Eaton
WR- Easley?
OL- Meeker
OL- Wirfs
OL- Good Jones
OL- Render
OL- Knipfel

Some tough decisions there. Hard to leave a second team All Conference TE off there so you could replace Easley with Allen and run a two TE set

If you were truly putting a team together from both teams, Wirfs and Jackson start somewhere along the offensive line. I think both safeties are from Iowa. Easley is one of the three best wide receivers. I would say Stanley is on there but I don’t really have a problem with Kempt.

Weren't Jackson and Wirfs pretty bad last year? Plus Jackson is coming off a suspension. I get their young but not every player develops year to year. Meeker has at least proven he can hold his own and then some at the college level
