Watching the ending I just have to say that this league's coaching challenges rules are insane. You can challenge a called penalty or challenge that a penalty occurred but wasn't called. WTF?!

No attendance listed in the boxscore, but it looked like the lower bowl was mostly full -- which would make it about twice as many people as most of the games I saw on TV this season.

I went for the first time in 20 years. It was fun. Very suspenseful ending. Crowd was great. Who cares if it was the IFL? It's not like the NBA or NFL titles are going to be rolling into Des Moines anytime soon.

And apparently the AFL only has 4 teams. I didn't know the AFL was that small now, and also didn't know the Barnstormers didn't play in the AFL anymore. I've learned a lot today, I'm going to take a nap.

I can't get into the new arena leugue. The talent level is piss poor. NAIA/DIII talent. It is semi-pro football. The old AFL was a good product.
