Iowa Football Recruiting

I mean, that’s what happened. Hall and Brock are both good prospects. I wish the Iowa staff wouldn’t have pulled Brock’s offer, because I think he will be a good player. But Brock doesn’t have a legit Notre Dame offer, and Hall doesn’t have legit offers from Nebraska or Michigan. That doesn’t make them any less good as prospects, so can you please stop this troll charade where you pretend like Notre Dame and Michigan really wanted them? Because I know that you know that’s not the case.

I trust Wiltfong over Sanderson when it comes to Iowa wanting Brock

Personally I don’t think you can put much weight on any of those guys. They all mostly work off of second and third hand stories. They often only know what they’re told, and often they’re purposely misled.

It’d be interesting to see what many of their CB records would be if they tracked their initial predictions.

I think he's reporting what the Iowa football program told him. Iowa controls what and how things get out to the media

So you think he is lying that he spoke to Brock personally, and is simply acting as a puppet of the Iowa coaching staff? Lololol.

What do you think is more likely:

Option A: a reporter risks his job by knowingly and intentionally lying to cover for a football program that he doesn’t work for

Option B: a kid speaks to a reporter immediately after something happens, and then later changes his story to other reporters to make himself look better.

I know which one sounds more likely to me (and any other sane, rational individual).

It will be interesting to find out the truth behind Iowa cancelling his visit or whatever actually happened.

Shortly after it happened, Brock told the Iowa Rivals guys that Iowa cancelled his visit. Now he is supposedly telling other reporters differently. I guess we’ll never know for sure, but I’m more apt to believe the statement that happened earlier.

My guess is Iowa did pull the offer, but it was in reaction to him not committing within a timeline or something along those lines.

But I’m here guessing on reading between the lines of what we’ve heard and how the events shook down.

That's KF's elitist attitude, even though Iowa isn't elite.

All I know is a reliable reporter said Iowa "begged" Brock not to cancel his visit

Hall is now rated as a 90 on 247, which would mean 247 rated him as a 4 Star. Composite is still a 3 Star just under 86, until re-evaluations from other rankings.

Rivals just finished their evaluations, probably wont have another set until after the HS season ends.

Wow, where is yeah buddy to brag about the two spot ranking difference and talk about how Iowa’s class fell out of the top 25?!

Wait, are you trying to brag about ISU being ranked behind Iowa in the recruiting rankings even though they have 2 more verbals right now?

LOL!!

Even if Brock goes to ISU, Iowa will still be ranked higher than ISU after Goodson publicly verbals tomorrow and will still have 2 more commits at this point than Iowa does.
